Oregon Grape Root Tincture
$12.00
Oregon grape root contains berberine, a chemical constituent that has been studied extensively for its strong anti-microbial actions. Berberine is in part what makes goldenseal such a popular herb, causing it to become overharvested and threatened by extinction. Oregon grape root is a more widespread and sustainable alternative. It is used by herbalists today for wounds on the skin, mouth infections, sore throats, and infections of the digestive tract. It is also a bitter herb, used to ease liver congestion and sluggish digestion.
This single plant extract is created with responsibly wild harvested fresh Oregon grape root, locally harvested spring water, and organic cane alcohol. The root used in this extract was consciously dug from the earth along the meadow of the Upper Truckee River watershed in the Lake Tahoe basin.
INGREDIENTS
Responsibly wild harvested fresh Mahonia aquifolium root, spring water, and organic cane alcohol. 1:2 herb to menstruum ratio, 50% ABV
